Help & Support
Everything you need to know about mastering InvQ for your business.
Invoicing & GST
How are GST rates calculated? expand_more
InvQ automatically calculates CGST, SGST, and IGST based on your business state and your client's state. If both match, it applies CGST+SGST (9%+9% for an 18% item). If they differ, it applies IGST (18%).
What is a Zero-Rated Supply? expand_more
If you are exporting services outside India or to an SEZ unit, you can mark the invoice as Zero-Rated. Note: You must ensure you have an active LUT (Letter of Undertaking) filed on the GST portal to avoid paying tax upfront.
What are SAC and HSN codes? expand_more
SAC (Services Accounting Code) is for services, and HSN is for goods. InvQ allows you to save these in your Item library so they automatically appear on your invoices.
Payments & Links
How do I add my bank details? expand_more
Go to Settings > Business Profile. You can add your Bank Name, Account Number, and IFSC code. These will be neatly printed at the bottom of every invoice you share.
How do automated email triggers work? expand_more
You can enable automated emails for invoice delivery and reminders. Starter users get 100 triggers/month, Premium 300/month, and Tax Pro users get unlimited. You can track your usage in the "Monthly Energy" meter on the dashboard.
Expenses & Tax
How do I claim GST back on expenses? expand_more
When adding an expense (like a laptop or internet bill), enable the "GST Claimable" toggle. InvQ will include this in your GST Filing Report so you can claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) and reduce your tax liability.
What is TDS Reconciliation? expand_more
Tax Pro users can auto-match their invoices against Form 26AS. We alert you immediately if a client has deducted TDS but hasn't deposited it, helping you avoid losing tax credits.
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored? expand_more
Your data is stored in secure, encrypted cloud servers powered by Supabase/PostgreSQL. We use enterprise-grade Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure only you can access your business records.
What happens to my data if I delete my account? expand_more
To prevent accidental data loss, we implement a 14-day "Safety Net". If you choose to delete your account, access is removed immediately, but data is only permanently purged after 14 days. During this window, you can restore your data by simply logging back in.
